########## Virus information ########## 


	
	Each e-mail you receive to your /stud.ntnu.no/-address gets scanned for viruses. If a virus is detected, the e-mail will be stopped and the sender is alerted of this so he/she may remove the virus. 



	
	If you receive such an e-mail you should do this:


            	 - Download and install Anti-virus software
	 - Update the virus definitions
	 - Scan your computer for viruses

        
	
        How you remove the virus depends on what kind of virus program you have. NTNU offers F-Secure Anti-Virus for both student and employees for free. You can get it at Orakeltjenesten or download it yourself from /progdist/.



        
	If you need help doing this, please contact Orakeltjenesten with information on what virus program you use and how you think you got your virus. 



-=If you get an e-mail but don't have a virus=-

	
	
        Sometimes a virus may change the /sender-address/ so you will get an e-mail saying you have a virus even though you don't.
