Researchers and PhD candidates in the research area Practical Philosophy work on normative problems in ethics, political philosophy and philosophy of law. One main theme is distributive justice, especially in relation to climate and health issues. Research is also done with regard to the questions of e.g. democracy, legitimacy, tolerance, justice and political freedom.
