We study the capillary exchange into the interstitium, the interstitial fluid and the lymphatic system and the role of the extracellular matrix in disease models such as fibrosis, neoplastic conditions, the microenvironment and responses to normoxia, hyper- and hypoxia.

Cardiovascular Research
Interstitial fluid, extracellular matrix and tissue microenvironment form the foundations for our research. We study their role in local control of transcapillary exchange under normal conditions and disease (inflammation, fibrosis and neoplastic conditions).
