In item no. 54/2010, the Board of the University of Bergen delegated the faculty boards and the board of the University Museum of Bergen to appoint an assessment committee in matters concerning promotion to professor. The deadline for applications for promotion to professor is 15th of September each year. In special cases, the Rector may approve waiver of this deadline.
