  • The University Board

    The University Board is the University of Bergen's highest body.

  • The Education Committee
    The University’s Education Committee is appointed by the University Board to develop the University in Bergen as an educational institution.

    The Working Environment Committee consists of representatives of the employer, the employees and the health and safety personnel and shall work to ensure that the working environment at the university fully satisfactory.

  • The Equality Committee

    The committee's job is to advise the University Board on equality issues, present proposals concerning measures, and assist with drawing up plans.

  • The Central Election Committee

    The Central Election Committee is responsible for organizing the election of the rector, pro-rector and members of the University board.

    The University of Bergen’s Learning Environment Committee (LMU) is appointed pursuant to the Act relating to Universities and University Colleges section 4-3 no 3.
