As far as Fredskorpset has been able to establish, none of the Fredskorpset's participants in the countries affected by the disaster in South East Asia, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Maylasia and Indonesia, have been physically injured.
Planned participant departures to South East Asia
Fredskorpsets partners which have participants going to any of the affected countries in January and February are asked to contact Fredskorpset after New Year. This also applies to partners with programmes in the planning stage.
Participants in Norway
Participants from the affected areas working in Norway, and their partners are asked to contact Fredskorpset to discuss the situation and establish measures should be taken in the near future.
