The last phase of the exchange consists of
- Debriefing
- Follow-up activities
Debriefing
Each network and partner can plan its own debriefing after a round of exchange has been completed. Debriefing with Fredskorpset in the south can take different forms: All participants and/or partner representatives in a network can be gathered for 1-2 days in the same way as on the preparatory course. Or, there can be national debriefing gatherings with partners and participants in that country. The regional representatives will advise.
Follow-up activities
Participants and partners must include follow-up activities in their work plan and job descriptions. The information activities can take place during their stay in the host country and after returning home. Information topics may include sharing the professional experience gathered through the stay in the other country, promotion of international understanding and cooperation in general, or other topics. A variety of media and tools may be used, bearing in mind the possible restrictions on journalism which may apply in any country, as well as technical limitations. Information work in connection with South-South-exchange must find local forms which are best decided by the local network itself.

Network
Fredskorpset’s aim is that all partners and participants use exchange as a medium for forming global links and promoting international understanding and cooperation. In all geographical regions, Fredskorpset will in due course offer meeting-places for previous and present partners and participants to come together. This includes also bridging between South-South and the other programming lines of Fredskorpset: North-South-, youth- and senior-programmes. Already, in some countries, arriving new participants will find a number of participants from other networks and programming lines to link up with during their stay.
