16 different African countries met in Ethiopia

Largest preparatory course ever in Addis Abeba.

A Pan African meeting took place in Addis Ababa in December, where Fredskorpsets largest preparatory course ever was conducted. Participants came from all over Africa – Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Liberia, Kenya, Malawi, Gabon, South Africa, Zambia Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Lesotho, Ghana, Angola and Mauritius. There were also some Norwegian participants in the large group.

 

- Most of the participants were happy with the event, and logistics went very well said Mr Fikre Haile Meskel, Fredskorpsets Regional representantive in Africa, who were responsible for the event. EMWA  (The Ethiopian Media Women’s Association) was responsible for the logistics at the course. -We are happy with the work they have done, says Fikre. – We will certainly learn from all the feedback and do it even better the next time.”
