In 2000 the State leaders in all the UN member countries gave a promise to halving extreme poverty within the year 2015. The State leaders also promised to reduse child mortality, achieve universal primary education, promote gender equality and combat HIV/AIDS. We call this "the worlds' biggest promise" because it is all about the biggest challenge of our time: to eradicate poverty in the world.
Now 10 000 children and adults in Norway have also given a promise - a promise for a better world. All together these Promise Cards make an installation with the title: "We promise to care". You can see this installation in R5 in Akersgata 56 from 27 February.
