Education/pedagogy is directed towards learning, upbringing, socialisation and education. The students will get insight into how people learn and develop as individuals and in relation to the society and culture they grow up in. A central issue in this connection is the importance of the educational system.

Through this Bachelor’s degree programme, the students will acquire a basic scientific competence with specialisation within human learning, development and education. Combined with a practical-pedagogical education, this provides the students with a good background for teaching, and perhaps also eventually for taking a Master's degree and doing research within this field.

Education/pedagogy was the first academic offer at the university college. We base our programmes on a progressive educational idea where we make much use of problem-solving study techniques.
