Request for extended diskquota

An extended quota is normally not granted, except under very special circumstances as listed under.

If you need an extended quota in relation to

• Projects
• Groupwork
• Studentorganisations

You can apply for this in our service centre. In the description you have to write a detalied explanation for what you intend to use this directory for. It will be set up a directory under /home/groups The quota for this directory is for the moment 1 GB.

It is possible to get an extended quota on your home directory in connection with study related projects. To be able to get this, you have to contact your teacher and/or tutor and have them send a request to us (the reason for this is that we need a request from a teacher/tutor before we can expand your home directory). The request should say why you need more space, how much space you need and for how long.

Students that require an extended quota related to their diploma/master thesis can apply for up to 2GB total storage space by contacting us. If you require more than 2GB storage space you have to contact your institute/faculty/tutorand get a confirmation that you need more than 2GB
