Using ISOC

Use the four sections of ISOC to find past and current projects supported by the European Commission through SOCRATES, including outputs, project participants and related events such as seminars and workshops. The information is maintained by the project co-ordinators themselves.

Projects
Go to the project section to search and browse for projects. The following information is available for projects:

  • Title
The project's official title. If the project has registered a website, a link to the site will be displayed directly under the title.
  • Code
The project's unique identification code, as assigned by the European Commission.
  • Status
Ongoing, closed (completed), or unknown (if no end date is available).
  • Themes
The thematic categories that the project falls under. You may view a list of all categories, and their associated projects, on this page.
  • Description
The official project description. This can be machine translated between English and French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese (and vice versa).
  • Partners
A list of all organisations participating in the project.
  • Outputs
A list of project results/outputs, if any are registered.

Partners
The partners section allows you to search and browse project participants (either co-ordinating partners or participating partners). Partner information includes: Name, organisation type, contact person (if given), address and contact information.

Outputs
Under outputs, you may view details of outputs produced through Socrates projects. Output information includes the name, nature of the output, primary and secondary target groups, description, language, website, and other details.

Events
The events list shows scheduled events related to project activities and outputs, such as seminars and workshops. Event information covers the type of event, its scheduled date, description, and venue and contact information.

Co-ordinators
Co-ordinators may log in to update project information and partners, and register events and outputs for their project.
