SINTEF ICT (Norway) performs contract research and development for industry and the public sector, based on key technology areas within software engineering, telecommunication, electronics and acoustics. R&D activities range from basic research through applied research and development to commercialisation of results into new products and business ideas, for both the domestic and international markets. SINTEF ICT has vast experience in EU-funded research projects, and participates in 13 projects within the 5th framework programme (year 2002).

SINTEF ICT will contribute in the technical execution of MADAM in the following ways:

  • Expertise in the areas of software engineering, software architectures and modelling methodologies
  • Expertise in the development of mobile applications
  • Know-how on context-awareness, adaptation and negotiable QoS contracts

Exploitation of the results will be done through the promotion of MADAM platform for specific research applications among the different projects carried out at SINTEF.
