The masters programme in "Product Design Engineering" is one of Norway's most popular. The 20-25 students who are admitted each year can look forward to a varied menu of courses. Upon completion, graduates have a broadly applicable Masters degree (MSc), built upon technological insight and accompanied by both aesthic and social consciousness.
A sometimes demanding, but always inspiring course selection contributes to a tight knitt study environment. For details concernign courses and program me requirements see the university study handbook (pg. 60, courses on page 557, available in Norwegian only).
The doctoral programme is closely linked with the research activity at the Department of Product Design. Research fields, to name a few, are:
Design methodology
Interaction design (Man Machine)
Ecodesign
Design strategy
The primary contact for questions concerning possibilities or enrollment in the doctoral programme will be the department. However, for information regarding the programme structure, applicable rules and forms, see the «Doctoral programme pages » for the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology.
