NORMS Workshop on Argument structure

Lund, February 5 – 6, 2008

grimm_logo

The aim of this NORMS thematic workshop on Argument Structure is twofold: we invite papers that examine the microparametric variation in the argument structure across languages, and papers that want to develop syntactic theory in such a way that the restrictions on argument structure can be calculated.

Organizers:

The GRIMM-group at Lund University
Christer Platzack (christer.platzack@nordlund.lu.se)
Mai Tungseth (mai.tungseth@hum.uit.no)

Pre-registration:

Pre-registration required at latest January 28, also by speakers. No registration fee. Please send an e-mail to christer.platzack@nordlund.lu.se, telling us that you will participate in the workshop.

Workshop dinner:

The price for a ticket to the dinner is 100 SEK (little more than 10 Euro). You have to tell us if you want to participate in the workshop dinner at latest Monday January 28. Payment (in cash) directly to the organizers only in connection with the reception Monday February 4, 17-19, or before lunch Tuesday February 5.

Of further interest!

Note that the workshop will be followed by the 22nd annual symposium Grammatik i Fokus (February 7 and 8). See the GRIMM web pages for information.
