In collaboration with the sections of Archaeology and Natural History, this section presents scientific work to the general public through exhibitions, activities and a schools service. Inter-disciplinary exhibitions are also arranged in co-operation with university (NTNU) departments. The section also runs the museum shop and café. Tuition material has been prepared for the guidance of teachers at nursery, primary and secondary schools, and includes suggestions for assignments that the pupils can tackle. This material can be supplied on loan.
