There are several ways to get in touch with NTNU students. Here are three of them.
Start NTNU is the entrepreneurship club at NTNU. They are part of the nationwide student organisation Start Norway and organize numerous entrepreneurship and networking events throughout the year. In 2007 they collaborate with MIT in order to organize the tenth annual MIT $100K Global Startup Workshop in late march.
Idéportalen (only in norwegian) establishes contact between companies and students through:
Project work
Bachelor´s thesis work
Master´s thesis work
Summer jobs
Any company can use a database at NTNU to register a proposal for work where they would consider involving a student. After approval from an Idéportalen editor, the proposal is published on Idéportalen's website. Here students can search for relevant project summer jobs based on a different categories and/or free text search. The students need approval from their teaching supervisor at NTNU before they contact the company proposing the thesis or project work. In the case of summer jobs this is not necessary. Contact bente.ronning@ntnu.no for further information.
IAESTE - The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience is present in 86 countries.
