Resources Economics is about how society deals with limited resources such as natural resources, labour, and technology. It describes how resources are used and how they can be distributed to satisfy human needs.
Micro and macro economics We distinguish between micro and macro economics. In microeconomics students will be provided with an understanding of particular actors, as for instance families and firms, and how their behavior in the market is affected by changes in technology, price levels, and income. In macroeconomics students are trained to perform analyses of the interaction between macroeconomic phenomena such as the gross domestic product, interest rates, unemployment, payment problems, and inflation.
Economic reasoning can be used to analyze, understand, and discuss problems related to unemployment, inflation, education, environment, and international economic interaction.
