The Department of Marine Technology announces 2 vacant PhD fellowships within the research program "Investigating hydrodynamic aspects and control strategies for ship-to-ship (STS) operations". More information about 2 PhD Positions in Nautical Science (doc)
The position will be connected with the Electric Power Systems Group. The Professorship will have specific responsibility for teaching and research in the area of power system analysis on the transmission and distribution level. Important fields are operational security, reliability/quality of supply and integration of distributed generation.
PhD fellowships are research training positions, offering promising students an opportunity of academic development. The Department conducts research within the areas of algebra, geometry/topology, mathematical analysis, numerical analysis and statistics. A sizable part of the research is done in cooperation with other disciplines, both within NTNU and with research facilities in industry and other external institutions.
