Activities
Different activities are held by MSAT during the year. Larger events like the two great eid's will be announced and emailed to all the members when the exact date is available from MST (the main mosque). Other important events are the Milad celebration (an evening dedicated to the Prophet, peace be upon him), laylat ul-qadr and shab-e-mehraj.
Smaller events include, but still important, our weekly dikhr gathering. This is held every Sunday at the prayer room at Gloshaugen. The program for the gathering will vary, but at the moment we start the gathering by reading a portion of the Quran, then we are reading a chapter of the excellent book Key to the garden by imam Al-Haddad, and at last we end the gathering with some dikhr followed by the night prayer (salat ul-isha).
