Present research focus on "ICT and learning" and "Higher education and sustainable development". I am also joining in the EU-project European Mixed Ability and Individualised Learning (EU-Mail).

Teach pedagogic. Mostly, about the sociological aspects of the subject and about quality in higher education, together with education and community development, locally and globally. Developed a program for alternative school practice for teacher students in a village in Udonthani Province in the north-eastern part of Thailand. The program was active 1994 - 1999.

Visited Laos, invited by The Norwegian Peace Corps, in the autumn 2002 to look into teacher training and to get a first impression of the possibilities and interest for future cooperation between teacher training institutions in Norway and in Laos. The report is here.
