Margrete Søvik
- EEA scholarship- and training funds

Communications Unit
Head of Information, Hanne Alver Krum, is leader of the Communications Unit which is responsible for all SIU's information activities, including:

• Publications and results from all the programs and agreements SIU administrates
• Content on the web sites www.siu.no and www.StudyinNorway.no
• Promoting Norway as and attractive country for study and research

Unit for EU Programmes
Senior adviser Vidar Pedersen is Head of Unit for EU Programmes which administrates the following programmes and agreements:

• Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP)
  • Comenius
  • Erasmus
  • Grundtvig
  • Leonardo da Vinci
  • Study visits (former Arion in the Socrates programme)
• The Erasmus Link to Norway
• Erasmus Mundus
• Europass
• Do it! ( Gjør det!)

Unit for Development Cooperation
Senior adviser Paul J. Manger is Head of Unit for Development Cooperation which administrates the following programmes and agreements:

• The NUFU-programme
• NOMA (Norad's programme for master studies)
• Norad Programme in Arts and Cultural Education (ACE)
• Pilot programme student exchange South Africa and Norway
• The Teacher Education Programme South-North
• The Tanzania agreement

Unit for International Cooperation Measures
Senior adviser Arne Aarseth is Head of Unit for International Cooperation Measures which administrates the following programmes and agreements:

• Cooperation programme whith Russia
• Western Balkans 2006-2009
• Cooperation with South Caucasus and Central Asia
• Cooperation in higher education with France
• Nordplus
• Pestalozzi-programme
• Quota scheme
• Norwegian teachers abroad

Unit for Human Resources and Finances
Kari-Lise Reinertsen is head of this section which has the responsibility for financial administration in SIU, together with human resources, archive and reception.

Unit for ICT
Senior adviser Sigurd Trageton is head of this unit, which is responsible for SIU's ICT operations and services.
