Geographic areas
SIU supports Norwegian universities and university colleges in their contact with institutions in many countries.
The support is mainly carried out through programmes, and through activities in relation to these programmes. Additionally, SIU works to strengthen the contact with certain geographic areas. The selection of areas is determined annually. The priorities are based on guidelines from the Ministry of Education and Research as well as SIU's own priorities as a result of the running dialogue with the Norwegian institutions of higher education.
The entirety of SIU's commitment is therefore not reflected in the geographic overview on the websites.
