EEA scholarship- and training funds
SIU is the national focal point in Norway for the scholarship- and training funds established through the EEA grants. The funds encompass 11 countries and will dispurse upwards of Euro 28 million over five years.
SIU will liaise with other countries' focal points, and later with the national fund administrators. As the Norwegian focal point, SIU offers information services and advice to the recipient countries with the goal of identifying possibilities for cooperation and mobility with Norwegian institutions of higher education.
SIU also actively dissiminates information about the funds to Norwegian institutions and organisations like The Research Council of Norway.
