Bilateral agreement with Germany

The agreement is co-financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research ( Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung - BMBF ) and The Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research.

The programme is targeted at the following groups:

• Businesses
• Upper secondary schools (German schools can only be partners)
• Educational offices
• Other organisations offering recognised vocational training

There need to be an bilateral exchange, and the programme states that the majority of an exchange period must take place in a business.

Duration
For Norwegian participants the exchange period is 2-12 weeks (3 recommended) and 3-12 weeks for German participants.

Administration
The programme is administrated in Germany by Capacity Building International , Germany ( Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung - InWEnt ) and by SIU in Norway. There are two yearly application deadlines, in May and November.
