The second semester (spring semester) of the academic year consists of the following topics:
Higher Education Entrance Qualification or prior learning and work experience.
Lectures, literature seminar, group work, group discussions and supervision.
The students must expect expenses in connection with a trip in the introduction course, autumn 2006.
AssessmentPortfolio assessment will be a part of the examination arrangements. It is meant to focus on the individual student's learning process and the evaluation of this. Each student puts together a portfolio that is handed in for the first time in the end of the autumn semester and then before the individual examination in the spring.
The portfolio must be evaluated as passed in order for the student to sit for the examination.
Individual written home examination:
The students formulate a problem issue for the examination themselves. The problem issue must be approved. A period of two weeks will be reserved for the individual work on the examination. In this period, the teachers' supervision will be limited to literature and source references and concept explanations.
The individual home examination will get a temporary letter grade. The final grade is decided after an oral test.
