Subject InterestMy main interest is in research on innovation, economic development and globalization. The most recent research focuses on mapping of global production networks by using trade in intermediate products and implications from globalization of production (and innovation) for technological upgrading in developing countries. I analyse micro data from innovation and entrepreneurship surveys to study interaction between micro-macro determinants of innovation activity and the role of foreign affiliates in technological catching-up. My recent work also includes comparative research on varieties of capitalism and institutional change in North-South and East-West perspective.Selected PublicationsREVIEWED JOURNALS LISTED IN THE SOCIAL SCIENCES CITATIONS INDEX:Srholec, M.
