Profile

The programming staff at Aksis have competence in a variety of programmering languages, standards and developmental tools. Among these are Java, Common Lisp, C, C++, SQL, XML/SGML, XSLT, xQuery, Python, Javascript, Perl, PHP, VBA, Delphi and OpenInsight. In addition we have specific knowledge on third-user software and tools, which we integrate in our own solutions, including relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, eXist), corpus tools (Corpus Workbench, WordSmith), computational modules (XLE, LKB), web servers etc.

We develop client-server applications for administration and presentation of various complex data in a multiple user environments, locally and on the internet. We have special competence in the processing of terminological and lexicographic data, electronic dictionaries, corpora and museal collections.
