The group is headed by associate professor Bjørn Henning Østenstad and is comprised of staff working on different issues concerning biomedical law and social law, including questions pertaining to human rights. The research group serve as a forum for academic debate and development and organizes various seminars for this purpose. Furthermore, the group aims to provide a forum for the development of new research projects within the field.
