User information
To register as a core facility user, please enclose your full name, work affiliation (institution/department) and contact details (office phone, cellular, e-mail address) in an e-mail to kenneth.larsen@fagmed.uit.no or to ingvill.harneshaug@fagmed.uit.no.
- Proper training is required for access to instruments at the facility. Training can be arranged with facility staff.
- If you're not sure how to operate an instrument, ask for help. Notify staff at the core facility of any instrument failure.
- Before using any instrument, make sure you have read and understood all safety information as well as the general guidelines on this website.
When you finish work on an instrument, check the booking schedule:
- Leave the instrument on or in standby mode if someone is using it after you.
- Shut down the instrument according to its particular operating instructions if you are the last user that day.
