Pool, Tall perennials

The pond is fed by a brook cascading into it from a small waterfall. In the pond white water lilies (Nympheae candida) and a water ranunculus (Ranunculus aquatilis) provides some attraction, while Yellow Flag and Siberian Irises at the waters edge makes a nice transition to drier ground.

A number of more monumental perennial plants, such as Ligularia species and hybrids mingles with species of Equisetum, Juncus, Rodgersia, and Alchemilla providing a somewhat riotous, but attractive plant mixture.
