Primula collection
A large number of species within genus Primula do very well in Tromsø. The Primula collection, restructured and expanded during 1998 and 1999 will see a large increase in the number of species over the next few years. The Botanic garden in Tromsø hopes to show about 25 % of all known species. Thus, more than 100 species of the about 425 species existing will be on display, providing an unending sequence of beautiful and interesting flowers through the entire growing season.
