Strategy for Internationalisation of Studies and Student Mobility 2002-2006

The overall objective of the University of Tromsø is to develop, maintain and disseminate relevant knowledge through education and research of high international standard. The Strategy on Internationalisation is one of the tools in the efforts to reach the University’s overall objective. The internationalisation work is based on the notion of academic quality and seeks to strengthen all aspects of the University’s activities.

The present strategy to internationalise the studies and to enhance student mobility was approved by the University Board in December 2001. An action plan (only in Norwegian) was worked out and approved by the University Board in June 2002.
