Section of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics

Section of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics is devoted to teaching and research related to the development, formulation and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.

The research in the section is associated with ”Drug Transport and Drug Delivery”. There are two main groups, one dealing with liposomes, both as drug carriers as well as in permeability models. The other works on solid matter and solid dosage forms. They have activities dedicated to both basic and applied research within this field.
