September 26th the Supercomputer Day was held at the University of Tromsø. Pupils from videregående skoler were invited to participate in a robot contest where they with the use of programming models could compete in groups to solve different tasks. On the program was also a visit to the 3D visionary where they could fly over Svalbard in search for geological resources.

The pupils got a guided tour in the machinehall at the University of Tromsø. |

In the machinehall they got the chance to see the superdome (Nana). |

At the Institute of Geology, the pupils visited the 3D visionary where they could fly over Svalbard in search for geological resources. |

Everybody had to wear "cool" 3D-glasses to be able to see Svalbard in 3D. |

The pupils also got the chance to try the Svalbard simulation on their own. |
