 Thursday, February 17th, a high speed interconnect was installed on 25 of the Snowstorm cluster nodes in Tromsø. The interconnect is an SCI based 2-D torus delivered by the Norwegian company Dolphin Interconnect Solutions.
Programs with high communication demands are expected to have large benefits from this new interconnect. Information on how to use it will be available soon.
