Bioinorganic chemistry

Contents Recapitulation of crystal and ligand field theories; metalloenzymes with particular emphasis on heme and nonheme iron enzymes; bioinformatics related to metalloenzymes; metal-DNA/RNA interactions; environmental bioinorganic chemistry.

Form of teaching Lectures: 20 h Seminars: 10 h Practical work: 40 h

Compulsory teaching Laboratory course

Assessment Oral presentation. Letter grades (A-F).
