The Surgical Research Laboratory is located in the Medical Faculty Building (MH-bygget) at the Campus of the University of Tromsø. The main objectives of the Lab. are to perform research with relevance to Surgery at large. Basic, applied and pre-clinical projects are performed. The main focus has been on metabolism, trauma, sepsis, cardiac preservation, liver protection and reperfusion.
