Silk shawl
The shawls are unique as no two are exactly the same. The fabric is silk georgette and the colours are inspired by the colours from the north, from the Arctic nights through to Spring. The shawls have different patterns, but all patterns feature a maze.
The artist, Inger Anne Nyaas (born 06.05.60), graduated from the arts school in Kabelvåg and the National College of Art and Design in Bergen, specialising at Master’s level in textiles and fabric printing in 1993. She has her own studio in Kabelvåg and has participated in exhibitions both in Norway and overseas. The shawls are packed in a gift box with information in Norwegian or English.
