The study option of applied mathematics is designed to give an overall introduction to mathematical modelling and applications. That's why all courses except one are mandatory. The mandatory courses includes a core curriculum of nine courses (90 ECTS).

This option also enable the student to qualify for admission to a master’s program in applied mathematics.
