Pasientinformasjon

NAFKAM's main tasks are to coordinate research activities and to initiate research in the field of complementary and alternative medicine.

Unfortunately we are not able to answer individual requests about health related questions or forms of treatment.

Important information
All content at NAFKAM's web site is meant to be used for research and information purposes only. All information, including links to other web sites, must be a starting point for further research.

The content at NAFKAM's web site must not be used instead of contact with, medical examination by or treatment by authorized health personnel. Always contact authorized health personnel for health related questions, diagnostics and treatment of illnesses.

Referrals to trade unions, interest groups, educational institutions, enterprises, individuals, web sites and products, etc, do not imply approval or acknowledgement from NAFKAM.

General recommendations
Most practitioners and web sites recommend to consult authorized health personnel for all health related quetsions, and they also recommend to double-check all information concerning alternative and complementary treatment. Be cautious if practitioners or web sites you visit do not give you this information, or if they promise a lot when it comes to treatment and/or products.
