Gruppelærer for medisinerstudenter i statistikk og epidemiologi.

Research interests
Mammografi og Brystkreft: Hovedmål for prosjektet er å undersøke sammenhengen mellom hormoner,
biologiske markører, livsstil, mammografitetthet/mønster og brystkreft.
Epidemiologiske studier har vist at en kvinnes mammografimønster/tetthet er en risikofaktor for å få brystkreft.
Undersøkelsen gjøres for å få økt kunnskap om årsakene til brystkreft og mer innsikt i om det er noen kvinner
som bør inviteres sjeldnere/hyppigere til mammografiscreening.
Det er vårt håp at kunnskap fra denne studien skal være med å gi oss økt forståelse for hvordan brystkreft kan forebygges.
