Biographical sketch
ernæringsfysiolog (1979), cand.scient (1981), dr philos (1988): The use of self-administered questionnaires about food habits. Relationships with risk factors for coronary heart disease and associations between coffee drinking and mortality and cancer incidence.
Professor i epidemiologi og medisinsk statistikk fra 1992.

Teaching activities
Undervisning av epidemiologisk metode og de kroniske sykdommers epidemiologi på ulike studieprogram (cand.med., MPH, PhD).

Research interests
Ulike temaer innen de kroniske sykdommers epidemiologi.
