Network for Scandinavian Dialect Syntax
Altogether nine Nordic research groups collaborate in the ScanDiaSyn project. Along with three non-Nordic groups these are organized in the Network for Scandinavian Dialect Syntax. The network is supported by a grant from NordForsk - The Nordic Research Board, initially for the period 2005-2007. The network coordinator is Dr. Øystein Alexander Vangsnes, and the network is furthermore led by a coordinating group consisting of five of the group leaders.
Each year a grand meeting for the network is organized. In 2005 the grand meeting was held in Leikanger, Norway, from 24 to 28 August. In 2006 the grand meeting was held in Solf in Ostrobothnia, Finland, 8-11 June. In 2007 the grand meeting was held by Lake Mývatn in Iceland 16-19 August.
