Bibliography of Scandinavian dialect syntax
We are currently building up a bibliographical database of work which fully or partially deal with syntactic variation across the Scandinavian languages. Anyone can add new titles to the database, and we especially welcome comments to and/or abstracts of the works in the bibliography. The address to the database is http://omilia.uio.no/scandiasyn/biblio/. Manager and contact person for issues concerning the database is Gunnar Hrafn Hrafnbjargarson.
The basis for the database is the bibliography in Nordica Bergensia 9 (1996) which in turn builds on Oddvar Nes: Norsk dialektbibliografi (Oslo: Novus Forlag, 1986). The database also includes an annotated bibliography for Danish dialect syntax, compiled by Karen Margrethe Pedersen. As of March 2006 the database also contains references to dialect syntactic works drawn from the Finland-Swedish bibliographical database Finna (with kind permission from Svenska litteratursällskapet i Finland).
Moreover, a bibliography of Scandinavian syntax more generally, compiled by Höskuldur Thráinsson, has also been set up as a searchable database.
In addition to this we list here recent work on dialectal syntactic variation across Scandinavian by researchers in the ScanDiaSyn network. (Click on year in the left menu.)
