PED-2001: Thematic specialisation Work Load
10 credits (ECTS) | Objectives
- Introduction of more specialised knowledge areas in education
- Encourage students to develop an interest in a specialised area | Contents
The unit presents some selected areas of educational research where members of staff can offer supervision and guidance for specialisation. Students are encouraged to select specialisations that can be further developed in their Bachelor thesis. The unit contains two courses in the use of library facilities, with special emphasis on the use of new computer software and search techniques. | Form of teaching
Writing course, individual tutoring. | Assessment
Individual thesis of 20 pages on a topic which is approved by the tutor and an oral exam where the thesis is discussed.
Grading: A-E=pass, F=fail. The course is open for re-sit examination early in the following semester. | Examination semester
