BIO-2102: Ecological theory (Ecology 2a) Work Load

Builds on principles introduced in the course Ecology and Evolution (Bio-1005) concerning topics in population- community-, and conservation-ecology. Subjects covered vary from a botanical perspective on grazing ecology to the structure of animal communities, including predator-prey interactions. Application of ecological theory within conservation biology will be emphasised. The teaching is research-based and designed to provide students with up-to-date information regarding research approaches at UiTø (including co-operators associated with the university). | Form of teaching
