FYS-2010: Digital imaging Work Load
10 credits (ECTS) | Contents
The course is primarily based on previous knowledge of FYS-2006 Signal Processing. Fundamental knowledge of programming is presupposed. The contents of the course: Mathematical characterization of continuous and discrete images, the psychophysical properties of the eyesight, sampling and reconstruction of images, some important two-dimensional transforms and techniques related to such transforms, image improvement, thresholding, and segmentation. Exercises will be emphasized. It is required that some laboratory exercises have been carried out and approved before exam. | Form of teaching
