INF-2200: Computer architecture and organization Work Load

This subject includes logical construction and organisation of processors, internal storage and in/out-systems for several types of computer architecture, Instruction Set Architecture, processor design (datapath and control), pipelining, instruction level parallelism (ILP), and memory hierarchy. | Form of teaching

The coursework includes up to 3 written assignments graded Pass/Fail. Oral presentation of the assignments and demonstration of a working system can be claimed. Approved assignments give access to the final written exam. | Compulsory teaching

Fall and Spring exams. 4 hours final exam graded by letter A-F. The overall grade for the course is determined 100% by the final exam. | Examination semester
