Work Load 5 credits (ECTS)
Objectives To provide skills relevant to lab work, field work or expeditions.
Contents The course will consist of one module lasting 12 hrs and a minimum of 18 academic hours of subjects of the students'' own choice. The entire course, or parts of it will also be compulsory for new staff and guest lecturers using the labs or doing field research.
Form of teaching Lectures, practical training and demonstrations; attendance is compulsory.

Date(s) of written examination 16.12.2005 The exam date is preliminary and may be subject to change. Definitive exam date will be announced on the notice boards at the faculties in the beginning of May for the spring semester and in the beginning of November for the autumn semester.
